Live classes

Some courses include scheduled sessions with the instructor — for questions, walkthroughs and discussion alongside the recorded material. They are part of the course, not an add-on you pay for separately.

How it works

  1. 1

    Check the schedule first

A live or hybrid course shows its session schedule on its own page, before you enrol. If the timings don't work for you, you'll know before paying.

  2. 2

    Enrol in the course

There is no separate sign-up or separate fee for the live sessions. They come with the course they belong to.

  3. 3

    Join from your dashboard

Upcoming sessions for your courses appear in your dashboard and calendar with a join link. You don't need a meeting ID or a password.

  4. 4

Catch up if you miss one

Where the instructor has enabled recording, the session is added back to the course afterwards.

Live, hybrid or recorded

Every course is one of the three, and its page says which.

Recorded

The whole course is pre-recorded. You work through it whenever you like, at your own pace, with no scheduled commitment.

Live

Taught in scheduled sessions with the instructor. The schedule matters, because the teaching happens at those times.

Hybrid

Recorded material you work through yourself, plus scheduled live sessions alongside it — usually for questions and review.

Before you enrol in a live course

It's a session, not a broadcast
Live classes are built for questions and discussion with the instructor in real time. That is the reason to attend one rather than watch the recording.
What you need
A reasonably stable connection and either a browser or the video app on your device. Nothing to install ahead of time.
Two devices
Your account works on up to two trusted devices at a time — a laptop and a phone, typically. Joining from a third will ask you to release one.
Recordings are not guaranteed
Whether a session is recorded is the instructor's decision, per course. Where it matters to you, check the course page rather than assuming.

Live classes

How do live classes work?

Live classes run on scheduled batches through integrated video sessions. You'll see the schedule on the course page before enrolling, and reminders as sessions approach.

What if I miss a live session?

Recordings are made available afterward wherever the instructor has enabled them, so you can catch up at your own pace.

Can I ask questions during a live class?

Yes — live sessions are built for real-time interaction with the instructor, not one-way broadcasts.

All frequently asked questions

Live sessions teach how markets and instruments work. They are not investment advice and no instructor will tell you what to buy — see our disclaimer. If a session’s timing or content isn’t clear from the course page, ask us before you buy.
