Categories group courses by subject, which is the fastest way in if you already know what you want to learn. If you don't, a learning path will tell you what to take first.

Three ways to find a course

They lead to the same catalogue. Which one suits you depends on how specific you can be about what you want.

By category

You know the subject — derivatives, technical analysis, personal finance — and want to see what is offered in it.

By learning path

You know the outcome you want but not the route. A path puts the courses in order and says what each assumes.

By search

You have a specific term in mind. Search looks across course titles and descriptions rather than only category names.

A note on what these categories are

A category describes the subject a course teaches. It is not a difficulty level and not a qualification — the level a course is pitched at, what it assumes you already know, and whether it carries a certificate are all stated on the course’s own page. If you are choosing between two courses in the same category, that page is where the difference will be.

Nothing on Alversity is investment advice, in any category. Courses teach how markets and instruments work; what you do with your own money remains your decision. Our disclaimer sets this out in full.
